Concession is for students, unwaged persons of those under 20 years or over 60 years. If you fall into any of these categories, please contact the Conference Secretariat prior to beginning your registration.

Refunds of Conference Registration Fees paid, less a $100.00 AUD administration fee, will be granted until Monday 2 September 2019. Cancellation must be received in writing to the Conference Secretariat before this date. Cancellations received after Monday 2 September 2019 will NOT receive a refund. A replacement delegate can be sent with no penalty charged, however this must also be advised to the Conference Secretariat in writing. Cancellations of accommodation must also be submitted in writing to the Conference Secretariat before Friday 6 September 2019 otherwise penalties will apply.


Registrations will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements in accordance with your registration, together with a tax invoice receipt. Please note that bookings will only be confirmed once payment is received.

Visa Support Letters

If you require a support letter for your visa application please complete a Conference registration form and then contact the Conference Secretariat at  to request a letter. Registration payment may need to be made to support this process.

General Conditions of Registration

It is expressly agreed that the members of the Organising Committee and the Conference Secretariat for the FECCA 2019 National Biennial Conference, their legal representatives, directors and employees, and their agents, officers and services, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage of any kind whatsoever suffered directly or indirectly by the person, possession or property of any Conference participant or other person during or in connection with the events on the program or any other activities of the FECCA 2019 National Biennial Conference, for any reason whatsoever no matter howsoever caused.

It is agreed that the Organising Committee and the Secretariat for the FECCA 2019 National Biennial Conference, and their agents and officers, reserve the right to cancel at any time any or all of the programmed or other activities if this should appear necessary as a result of events which are beyond their control or which they cannot reasonably be expected to influence or for which they are not responsible. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, such events shall include force majeure, government or other official regulations, natural disasters, strikes or any kind whatsoever, civil, international or other crises, or any other unforeseen occurrence. Decisions regarding the necessity for such cancellation shall be taken by the Organising Committee, or their agents, at their sole discretion and shall be final.


The Conference Secretariat has secured rooms at two properties with favourable rates and flexible terms and conditions exclusively for attendees of the Conference. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions prior to making your selection.

A requirement of the hotels is that all bookings include credit card details. These credit card details will be forwarded to your selected hotel/apartment as a guarantee only. You will be responsible for paying the balance of your account directly to the hotel when checking out from the selected property.

Accommodation rates listed will be provided to delegates who book through the Conference Secretariat and will not be honoured if booking directly with the hotel.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of accommodation must be submitted in writing to the Convention Secretariat before Friday 6 September 2019. Any cancellation received after Friday 6 September 2019 will incur up to 100% cancellation penalty, depending on the property. Delegates who confirm accommodation but do not advise of cancellation before the accommodation deadline of Friday 6 September 2019 will incur charges for the ‘no- show’ rate as penalised by the hotel. This charge is calculated as the room rate per night multiplied by the dates booked and secured. Please ensure the accommodation dates are correct on the confirmation email.
